HEAD COACH: ANNIE CARTER
Annie Carter was born and raised in Woodland, California, and attended Woodland Christian School from preschool through graduation. She discovered her love for volleyball playing grass volleyball at family gatherings before beginning competitive volleyball in 7th grade. She played three years of varsity volleyball and graduated in 2013.

Annie Carter was born and raised in Woodland, California, and attended Woodland Christian School from preschool through graduation. She discovered her love for volleyball playing grass volleyball at family gatherings before beginning competitive volleyball in 7th grade. She played three years of varsity volleyball and graduated in 2013.
Coach Annie began her coaching career at Woodland Christian School in 2013, where she coached for nine years before becoming the Head Varsity Volleyball Coach at Pioneer High School in 2022. She currently leads both the boys and girls varsity volleyball programs.
In addition to coaching, Annie is an elementary Physical Education teacher with Woodland Joint Unified School District. She earned her Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from Woodland Community College and her Bachelor's degree in Child Development from California State University, Sacramento. Coach Annie is passionate about helping athletes build confidence, develop strong fundamentals, and grow both on and off the court.
