Megan is originally from Salinas, CA where she attended Notre Dame High School. She was a 4 sport varsity athlete participating in volleyball, basketball, soccer and softball. Megan is originally from Salinas, CA where she attended Notre Dame High School. She was a 4 sport varsity athlete participating in volleyball, basketball, soccer and softball. She continued playing volleyball at Hartnell Community College in Salinas where she was an outside hitter. After graduation from Hartnell, she transferred to California State University, Sacramento to continue her studies in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Teaching Physical Education. Megan started her teaching career in 2000 at Lee Middle School and then transferred to Pioneer High school in 2006, where she continues to teach. From 2017-2021, Megan returned to coaching at the school level for Douglass Middle School. From 2001-2009, she had coached at both the Junior High (Lee 8th & 9th) and High School (Woodland & Pioneer) levels (Freshmen & Junior Varsity). Megan has been the director of Dynamix Volleyball Club since 2013. She has also coached with Dynamix the club for 18 years and 2 additional years when it was known as Club Woodland. In 2021, Megan became the Athletic Director at Pioneer High School. Becoming the Athletic Director has been a lifelong goal that Megan has had since she was an athlete at her own high school. Supporting/guiding coaches and cheering on athletes is what Megan loves being apart of. Megan has her CIF coaching certification, IMPACT and Safesport certified along with First Aid and CPR certified and also trained in concussion awareness.

She coached two years of JV volleyball at piece high school and is going into her 8th year of coaching for Dynamix volleyball club.
