     Shelby was born and raised in Elk Grove, CA. She attended Franklin High School where she played all 4 years of volleyball.  She was captain and received first team all league honors her senior year.  She continued playing volleyball after high school at American River College where she played outside hitter and opposite. She started her coaching career with Force Performance Volleyball Club in Elk Grove and coached there for 2 years. After club season she coached at Sheldon High school as the Head JV coach for 2 years.  After her last season at Sheldon she moved clubs to coach at CRV for two years during this time she also got the Head Varsity Coach position at Monterey Trail high school in elk grove where she kept the position for 3 years. This will be Shelby's fourth season with Dynamix Volleyball Club.

  Marissa was born and raised in Sacramento, CA.  Currently attending college to obtain a degree in Kinesiology.  Her family is extremely volleyball oriented, and volleyball is a favorite community sport. Marissa started her volleyball career in middle school and has played ever since.  She may not be super tall, but her position on the court was middle blocker.  Marissa still competes competitively at community tournaments all throughout CA (Sacramento, Fresno, Oroville, Chico, Merced and Stockton).This will be Marissa's 2nd season with Dynamix.

  Michelle grew up in Davis, CA and attended Davis Senior High School. After graduating high school she went to Sacramento City College where she played volleyball for two years. Michelle then transferred to Humboldt State University where she graduated with honors,  majored in mathematics, and minored in business. She was an assistant coach for the Humboldt State volleyball team for two years. Michelle is currently teaching for Davis Joint Unified School District.  This will be Michelle’s 5th year coaching for Dynamix and is excited for the season to come. She is CPR/AED certified.

 Sophia was born & raised in Vacaville, CA. She attended Vacaville High School, where she played volleyball, triple jumped for the track & field team, and was a cheerleader. Sophia started playing volleyball for the city league at a young age and eventually went on to play club & school volleyball. As a player, she excelled in the back row as a DS & L. In 2019 she went on to coach for the city league and quickly fell in love with it. Sophia has recently passed her Emergency Medical Technician course and will soon be taking her national registry test. She is First Aid & CPR certified with the American Heart Association. Sophia looks forward to her first club season as a coach, and can't wait to share her love for the game!

Emily was born and raised in Mission Viejo, California. In Southern California she played 4 years of high school volleyball and club at Tstreet Volleyball Club, where she played middle and outside hitter. In high school, she played soccer, volleyball, and track and field. After high school, she played NCAA Division 1 Volleyball for the University of Pittsburgh where she played as an opposite. While there, her team won the Athletic Coast Conference for 2 years and made it to the NCAA tournament for 3 years. She also played one year of NCAA Division 1 beach volleyball at UC Davis. Currently, she is coaching at Pioneer High School after her first year serving as the Varsity Head Coach. Emily started coaching camps for her university in 2016 and also spends each summer coaching in Menlo Park as the Head Volleyball Coach for the JCC Maccabi Sports Camp. This is Emily’s first year coaching at Dynamix.

  Allyson was born and raised in Vacaville, Ca where she attended Vacaville High School. Allyson was a two-sport varsity athlete in volleyball and soccer. She earned 2008’s Most Valuable Player as a libero (volleyball), 2008’s Most Valuable Forward (soccer), and 2005’s Most Assists (volleyball). She continued playing volleyball at Solano Community College as a DS/Libero, where she earned a place on the 2010 All League Team in the Bay Valley Conference. After earning her Associate’s degree, she transferred to California State University, Sacramento where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accountancy and General Management.  Allyson began her coaching career through Vacaville Youth Sports coaching kids between the ages of 5-17. She has assisted with Solano Community College youth volleyball camps (2009 to 2014) and she just completed her first year as the 2017 Vacaville High School’s JV Volleyball Head Coach with an undefeated league season. This will be Allyson’s fifth year coaching club volleyball. She is also First-Aid and CPR certified.

Annika was born and raised in Woodland, CA. She attended Pioneer High School where she played all 4 years of volleyball.  After High School she continued playing volleyball at College of the Siskiyou's where she played Middle and Libero. She started her coaching career with Dynamix Volleyball Club in 2017 and has been coaching club since. Annika also coaches at Woodland High School as the Varsity Head Coach for the previous 3 years and is still there today. Annika is very excited for the upcoming season and looking forward to making memories with her upcoming team.

Celeste was born and raised in Woodland, CA. She attended Pioneer High School and played volleyball all 4 years (2011-2014) as a setter and right side hitter. In 2012 she was honored as an All League player. When she wasn’t playing for her high school team, Celeste would continue playing volleyball for Dynamix VBC. After high school, Celeste continued to play volleyball for fun with co-ed intramural teams at Chico State. During her time at Chico State, Celeste earned her B.A. in Sociology (2018), Ed. Specialist Teaching Credential and M.A. in Education (2020). Off the court, Celeste works for Twin Rivers Unified School District as a Special Education Teacher. This will be Celeste’s first season assistant coaching for Dynamix.

Lauren was born and raised in Vacaville, Ca where she attended Vacaville High School. After high school she went on to complete her Bachelors degree at Sonoma State University with a concentration in Kinesiology- Exercise Science. Soon she will have her Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix is coming October 2019. Lauren's passion for volleyball started at a young age after her mom registered for her city's youth recreation program. From there she went on to play for her high school and played club up until she graduated. As a player she played DS, L, and some outside hitter. As soon as she finished playing in high school she took up coaching very quickly. She has coached for Club Solano (Fairfield, Ca), Bulldog Volleyball Club (Vacaville, Ca), and is going on her 6th year coaching for Dynamix. Lauren is excited for the season ahead and looking forward to sharing her passion with her upcoming team. She is First Aid and CPR certified and IMPACT certified as well.

Natalie was born and raised in Woodland, California. She attended Woodland High School where she played all four years as a Libero & Defensive Specialist. Natalie also played club volleyball for four seasons, two of those with Dynamix.  After high school, Natalie attended and graduated from San Diego State University, where she majored in International Security and Conflict Resolution with a minor in Personality and Social Psychology. She is currently searching for a job within law enforcement. After graduating from college, Natalie began her coaching career at Lee Middle School coaching 7th and 8th grade. Natalie is very excited to come back and coach at the club she played for!

Kendra Mckee was born and raised here in Woodland, Ca where she attended Woodland Christian School. Kendra’s passion for volleyball started in elementary school after her mom signed her up for school volleyball. Years later, she would come across Dynamix Volleyball Club, where she would go on and play for another 4 years. Unfortunately, her last season was cut short due to COVID-19, so she was not able to finish out her senior year. Kendra has played DS/L with a few years of setting. Although Kendra is young, she has coached 1 year at Legacy Volleyball Club in Woodland. She is currently working at Woodland Veterinary Hospital where she hopes to continue learning more about Veterinary Medicine and animal therapy. Kendra is very excited about this season starting, and even more excited she’s coaching for her home club!  This will be Kendra's second season coaching with Dynamix Volleyball Club.

 Dori was born and raised in Woodland, CA where she played volleyball during her high school career at Pioneer High School.  Dori specialized in the front row and was extremely valuable being able to play all positions.  Dori played club through Dynamix Volleyball Club and has been coaching in the program for the past 9 years.

Dori is continuing her college education through Woodland Community College and plans to transfer to pursue early child education at the university level.

Kacie was born and raised in Vacaville, CA.  She attended Vacaville High School where she graduated in 3 years.  Throughout her club and high school volleyball career she played as a setter and DS.  Since high school Kacie has spent time living in Santa Barbara and has continued her education at Cuesta College studying Business Administration with a discipline of Marketing.  Before she picked up volleyball she was originally a competitive gymnast for 9 years.  Alongside coaching with us here, she is a coach at Orangetheory Fitness.  Kacie is stocked to be coaching her first club team and sharing her love for the game with each of her players this season!

Kaylie was born and raised in Vacaville. She currently attends UC Davis and is working toward achieving her Bachelor’s in Psychology. She plans to graduate in the spring of 2022 and wants to continue her education to earn her masters in Occupational Therapy. She went to Vacaville High School and played on the school volleyball team there. On the team she excelled in the position of middle front and was a vital part of her teams success. She also played a few years of club ball for Extreme volleyball Club out of Vacaville. Since club and high school ball she has continued to stay involved with the sport through Vacaville’s recreational volleyball league. There she served as a coach and referee to the league. This community of players are very special to her since she had started her volleyball journey in that same league. She has since then fell in love with coaching and is thrilled to coach her first club team!

  Josie was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and then raised in Woodland, CA.  She attended Woodland High School where she excelled in volleyball for four years.  She received MVP honors and was also selected to the All-League team.  She continued her playing career at American River College where she played outside hitter.  Josie was selected to the All-Conference second team and also received MVP honors in defense and offense. Josie coached the Woodland High School freshmen team and assisted the varsity team in 2014-15.  She has been coaching with Dynamix Volleyball Club for- 10 years.  Josie has her CIF coaching certification, she is IMPACT certified along with First Aid and CPR certified.

Cassidy was born and raised in Woodland, CA. She attended Woodland High School and played volleyball as a setter. After high school, she attended University of San Francisco where she received a BA in Politics with a minor in Criminal Justice. Cassidy’s love for volleyball started at a very young age and continued for many years. She began by playing for Dynamix at the age of 12 and continued playing club volleyball for 6 years. Volleyball was an important part of Cassidy's childhood. She is now one of the volleyball coaches at Lee Middle School. Off the court, Cassidy works for the Yolo County District Attorney’s Office in the Victim Services Unit. She is currently pursuing her career in law. Cassidy is very excited for this season and ready to share her love and passion for volleyball with her team.

  Megan is originally from Salinas, CA where she attended Notre Dame High School.  She was a 4 sport varsity athlete participating in volleyball, basketball, soccer and softball.  She continued playing volleyball at Hartnell Community College in Salinas where she was an outside hitter.  After graduation from Hartnell, she transferred to California State University, Sacramento to continue her studies in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Teaching Physical Education. Megan started her teaching career in 2000 at Lee Middle School and then transferred to Pioneer High school in 2006, where she continues to teach.  From 2017-2021, Megan returned to coaching at the school level for Douglass Middle School.  From 2001-2009, she had coached at both the Junior High (Lee 8th & 9th) and High School (Woodland & Pioneer) levels (Freshmen & Junior Varsity).   Megan has been the director of Dynamix Volleyball Club since 2013. She has also coached with Dynamix the club for 15 years and 2 additional years when it was known as Club Woodland.     In 2021, Megan became the Athletic Director at Pioneer High School.  Becoming the Athletic Director has been a lifelong goal that Megan has had since she was an athlete at her own high school.  Supporting/guiding coaches and cheering on athletes is what Megan loves being apart of.  Megan has her CIF coaching certification, IMPACT and Safesport certified along with First Aid and CPR certified and also trained in concussion awareness.

   Amber is originally from Oroville, CA. She is 28 years old and currently lives in Sacramento, CA. She is a victim advocate in Sacramento County for a non profit organization. Volleyball is the #1 sport played in her family.  Amber had her first opportunity to play volleyball in the 6th grade and after that she grew to love the sport. Amber continued to play in high school and was able to make Junior Varsity her freshmen year. The positions she played were libero and DS. Amber loves the game and still continues to play. After high school Amber went away to college. She attended Sonoma State where she received a BA in Women’s & Gender Studies. During her time at Sonoma, Amber played volleyball in Intramural sports as well as representing her sorority in games.  To this day, she continues to play for fun with her family and friends. Amber has been coaching with Dynamix for 3 season's.

    Marnie grew up in Woodland, CA where she attended Pioneer High School and played volleyball all 4 years (with an undefeated JV season under Head Coach Megan Ussery). She started out as a Middle Hitter, but eventually fell in love with playing Opposite later on in her athletic career. Marnie earned her B.A. in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara in 2016 and her Masters of Education in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University in 2019. Marnie first began playing volleyball for the Woodland YMCA, eventually going on to play for Club Woodland, Team Spikers, and Dynamix VBC spanning a total of 7 years. Off the court, Marnie works as a mid-level service provider for a regionally-based behavioral healthcare agency where she provides 1:1 in-home behavior therapy to children primarily diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. This is Marnie’s fifth season coaching for Dynamix. Marnie is IMPAC, First Aid, and CPR certified.
