Marnie grew up in Woodland, CA where she attended Pioneer High School and played volleyball all 4 years (with an undefeated JV season under Head Coach Megan Ussery). She started out as a Middle Hitter, but eventually fell in love with playing Opposite later on in her athletic career. Marnie earned her B.A. in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara in 2016 and her Masters of Education in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University in 2019. Marnie first began playing volleyball for the Woodland YMCA, eventually going on to play for Club Woodland, Team Spikers, and Dynamix VBC spanning a total of 7 years. Off the court, Marnie works as a mid-level service provider for a regionally-based behavioral healthcare agency where she provides 1:1 in-home behavior therapy to children primarily diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders.
This is Marnie’s fourth season assistant coaching for Dynamix. Marnie is IMPAC, First Aid, and CPR certified.
Shelby was born and raised in Elk Grove, CA. She attended Franklin High School where she played all 4 years of volleyball. She was captain and received first team all league honors her senior year. She continued playing volleyball after high school at American River College where she played outside hitter and opposite. She started her coaching career with Force Performance Volleyball Club in Elk Grove and coached there for 2 years. After club season she coached at Sheldon High school as the Head JV coach for 2 years. After her last season at Sheldon she moved clubs to coach at CRV for two years during this time she also got the Head Varsity Coach position at Monterey Trail high school in elk grove where she kept the position for 3 years. This will be Shelby's fourth season with Dynamix Volleyball Club.
Marissa was born and raised in Sacramento, CA. Currently attending college to obtain a degree in Kinesiology. Her family is extremely volleyball oriented, and volleyball is a favorite community sport. Marissa started her volleyball career in middle school and has played ever since. She may not be super tall, but her position on the court was middle blocker. Marissa still competes competitively at community tournaments all throughout CA (Sacramento, Fresno, Oroville, Chico, Merced and Stockton).This will be Marissa's 2nd season with Dynamix.
Allyson was born and raised in Vacaville, Ca where she attended Vacaville High School. Allyson was a two-sport varsity athlete in volleyball and soccer. She earned 2008’s Most Valuable Player as a libero (volleyball), 2008’s Most Valuable Forward (soccer), and 2005’s Most Assists (volleyball). She continued playing volleyball at Solano Community College as a DS/Libero, where she earned a place on the 2010 All League Team in the Bay Valley Conference. After earning her Associate’s degree, she transferred to California State University, Sacramento where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accountancy and General Management. Allyson began her coaching career through Vacaville Youth Sports coaching kids between the ages of 5-17. She has assisted with Solano Community College youth volleyball camps (2009 to 2014) and she just completed her first year as the 2017 Vacaville High School’s JV Volleyball Head Coach with an undefeated league season. This will be Allyson’s fifth year coaching club volleyball. She is also First-Aid and CPR certified.
Katie is currently a senior at Sacramento State University studying Kinesiology. She started coaching volleyball at Dixon High School in 2014 as the freshman girls coach. She coached at the freshman level until 2018 when she moved up to the junior varsity team. In the spring of 2019, she assisted the varsity coach on the boy’s volleyball team at Dixon high. Katie works a part time job at the moment in Dixon where she lives and in her free time she works out at the local CrossFit gym and does weightlifting as well. She decided to not continue coaching this fall at the high school because she wanted to focus on her studies as she plans for graduate school in physical therapy. However, she missed coaching so much and that she will be starting her second season with Dynamix Volleyball Club.
Annika was born and raised in Woodland, CA. She attended Pioneer High School where she played all 4 years of volleyball. After High School she continued playing volleyball at College of the Siskiyou's where she played Middle and Libero. She started her coaching career with Dynamix Volleyball Club in 2017 and has been coaching club since. Annika also coaches at Woodland High School as the Varsity Head Coach for the previous 3 years and is still there today. Annika is very excited for the upcoming season and looking forward to making memories with her upcoming team.
Lauren was born and raised in Vacaville, Ca where she attended Vacaville High School. After high school she went on to complete her Bachelors degree at Sonoma State University with a concentration in Kinesiology- Exercise Science. Soon she will have her Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix is coming October 2019. Lauren's passion for volleyball started at a young age after her mom registered for her city's youth recreation program. From there she went on to play for her high school and played club up until she graduated. As a player she played DS, L, and some outside hitter. As soon as she finished playing in high school she took up coaching very quickly. She has coached for Club Solano (Fairfield, Ca), Bulldog Volleyball Club (Vacaville, Ca), and is going on her 6th year coaching for Dynamix. Lauren is excited for the season ahead and looking forward to sharing her passion with her upcoming team. She is First Aid and CPR certified and IMPACT certified as well.
Kendra Mckee was born and raised here in Woodland, Ca where she attended Woodland Christian School. Kendra’s passion for volleyball started in elementary school after her mom signed her up for school volleyball. Years later, she would come across Dynamix Volleyball Club, where she would go on and play for another 4 years. Unfortunately, her last season was cut short due to COVID-19, so she was not able to finish out her senior year. Kendra has played DS/L with a few years of setting. Although Kendra is young, she has coached 1 year at Legacy Volleyball Club in Woodland. She is currently working at Woodland Veterinary Hospital where she hopes to continue learning more about Veterinary Medicine and animal therapy. Kendra is very excited about this season starting, and even more excited she’s coaching for her home club! This will be Kendra's second season coaching with Dynamix Volleyball Club.
Dori was born and raised in Woodland, CA where she played volleyball during her high school career at Pioneer High School. Dori specialized in the front row and was extremely valuable being able to play all positions. Dori played club through Dynamix Volleyball Club and has been coaching in the program for the past 9 years.
Dori is continuing her college education through Woodland Community College and plans to transfer to pursue early child education at the university level.
Josie was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and then raised in Woodland, CA. She attended Woodland High School where she excelled in volleyball for four years. She received MVP honors and was also selected to the All-League team. She continued her playing career at American River College where she played outside hitter. Josie was selected to the All-Conference second team and also received MVP honors in defense and offense. Josie coached the Woodland High School freshmen team and assisted the varsity team in 2014-15. She has been coaching with Dynamix Volleyball Club for- 10 years. Josie has her CIF coaching certification, she is IMPACT certified along with First Aid and CPR certified.
Megan is originally from Salinas, CA where she attended Notre Dame High School. She was a 4 sport varsity athlete participating in volleyball, basketball, soccer and softball. She continued playing volleyball at Hartnell Community College in Salinas where she was an outside hitter. After graduation from Hartnell, she transferred to California State University, Sacramento to continue her studies in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Teaching Physical Education. Megan started her teaching career in 2000 at Lee Middle School and then transferred to Pioneer High school in 2006, where she continues to teach. In 2017, Megan returned to coaching at the school level for Douglass Middle School. From 2001-2009, she had coached at both the Junior High (Lee 8th & 9th) and High School (Woodland & Pioneer) levels (Freshmen & Junior Varsity). Megan has been the director of Dynamix Volleyball Club for 8 years. She has also coached with Dynamix the club for 15 years and 2 additional years when it was known as Club Woodland. Megan has her CIF coaching certification, IMPACT and Safesport certified along with First Aid and CPR certified and also trained in concussion awareness.
Amber is originally from Oroville, CA. She is 26 years old and currently lives in Sacramento. She works at a school for kids with autism called Odyssey Learning Center in Orangevale, CA as an instructional aide in the transitional classroom for ages 17-22. She started playing volleyball in the 6th grade and grew to love the sport. Amber continued to play in high school and was able to make Junior Varsity freshmen year. The position she played was libero. She was also captain her sophomore and senior year. She received Best Server sophomore year, junior year, and senior year and also received Best Digger award all 4 years of high school. Club Volleyball was always in her interest, but never was able to join. Amber loves the game and still continues to play. She went away to college to Sonoma State where she played volleyball in Intramural sports against other students on campus as well as representing her sorority in games. Til this day, she continues to play for fun and competitively at local festival tournaments. Amber has been coaching with Dynamix for 3 season's.
Yasmin was born in Woodland, CA and raised in Arbuckle CA. She attended Pierce High school where she played 4 years of volleyball and went on to play a year at Columbia college in Sonora, CA as a right side. She coached two years at piece high school as the JV coach and is going into her 7th year of coaching for Dynamix volleyball club.
Michelle grew up in Davis, CA and attended Davis Senior High School. After graduating high school she went to Sacramento City College where she played volleyball for two years. Michelle then transferred to Humboldt State University where she graduated with honors, majored in mathematics, and minored in business. She was an assistant coach for the Humboldt State volleyball team for two years.
Michelle is currently teaching for Davis Joint Unified School District. This will be Michelle’s 5th year coaching for Dynamix and is excited for the season to come. She is CPR/AED certified.

Ann Marie is a full time student at Woodland Community College working towards completing her Associates Degree to hopefully transfer into Sacramento State. She is majoring in Law Enforcement and looking at becoming an officer either for CHP or becoming a Peace Officer. In the meantime she works and go to school! Aside from coaching with Dynamix, she works at Cattlemen's in Dixon. She played club from 13-18 years old for both Dynamix and Team Infinity from Sacramento. She also played Volleyball throughout high school. Freshman year she played on JV with Brian Levings and moved up to play under amazing Dana Anglin her last three years on Varsity. All of her previous coaches have made a tremendous impact on who she is today. This will be Ann Marie's 2nd season coaching with Dynamix Volleyball Club and she is looking forward to the season.
Mariah Diaz is from Arbuckle, California. She graduated from Pierce High School in 2014 being a three sport athlete playing volleyball, basketball, and track while maintaining club volleyball and basketball. After graduating, she attended Feather River College to play volleyball under head coach Sarah Ritchie. Mariah played two seasons of Indoor Volleyball as an opposite hitter and one season of Beach Volleyball when it was first established at Feather River College in 2015. She was the captain of her team in the season 2015. While Mariah played at Feather River College, her team made it to the Final Four CCCAA Volleyball State Championship. She was awarded Second Team All American, All-State, All-NorCal, MVP of the GVC.In 2016, Mariah transferred to University of Great Falls in Great Falls, Montana which recently changed to the name University of Providence in 2017. She had the pleasure of being coached under Arunas Duda. Mariah was captain of the volleyball team and was awarded many awards throughout her two years of attending. She got 2017 Volleyball Academic All-Conference, Frontier Conference Attacker of the Week, and All Conference Second Team. Mariah graduated with having two semesters back to back of being on the Presidents Honor Roll list with a 4.0 GPA, Cum Laude Honors, and her Master’s in Business.
Janine was born in Hahn AB, Germany and was raised in Dixon, CA. She played for Davis Volleyball Club from 8th - 12th grade and graduated from Dixon High School -- playing 3 years of Varsity. At DHS, she was All-League 1st Team her Sophomore and Junior years and League MVP her Senior year -- leading her team to CIF playoffs each year. Upon graduating in '00, Janine played volleyball for Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont as an Outside Hitter/Opposite. She helped lead her team to 3 CalPac Championships and was named to the All-Cal Pac 2nd Team her junior year and All-Cal Pac 1st Team her senior year.This will be Janine's sixth season coaching with Dynamix. Previously, she coached with Five Starz Volleyball Club. She is also IMPACT, First Aid and CPR certified. Janine also has 12 years of experience as an NCAA Scorekeeper in the West Coast Conference and Big West. Janine graduated from NDNU in '04 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications w/ a minor in Sociology. She currently resides in West Sacramento and works for the State in the Education sector.
Nikki was born and raised in Woodland, CA. She attended Pioneer High School, where she played Volleyball and Soccer all four years of high school. After graduating high school, Nikki attended Chico State for two years and then transferred to Sacramento State and graduated with a degree in Child Development and Psychology. Nikki is entering her 3rd year teaching at Gibson Elementary school.Nikki's playing experience has been with Dynamix Volleyball Club, Pioneer High School, as well as with the Chico State Club Volleyball team during her freshmen year. Her main positions through out her playing experience were libero and defensive specialist. In High School, she received awards for defensive MVP as well as TCC All League Player. Nikki's coaching experience began at the YMCA in Woodland where she coached girls, ages 8-10, for three years. While attending Chico State, Nikki worked for Chico Area Recreation and Park District for two years, where she coached 5th and 6th graders and worked at weekend clinics. Corrie started coaching as a varsity assistant at the high school level for Pioneer High School's volleyball team in 2011. Shortly after, she joined Dynamix Volleyball Club head coaching at the 14s and 13s level. She has worked with all ages throughout summer camps & clinics. Corrie has also filled in as a substitute coach to stay connected to Dynamix Volleyball Club. Corrie’s positions played throughout her club and high school career ranged from outside, middle, opposite and libero. She then moved on to play opposite for the University of Redlands.As much as she absolutely loves coaching for Dynamix, her career as a local firefighter makes it very difficult to commit to the club schedule as her work days are always rotating. Michelle started playing volleyball at the age of eleven for Five Starz Volleyball Club, where she played for 6 years. She played her final year for NCVC at the age of 18. During her club years, her teams qualified for Junior Nationals five times. During her 16’s year, the team won the National division and Michelle was selected to the All-Tournament Team. Michelle graduated from Vacaville High School in 2017, where she was on varsity for two years. Her senior season, she was a captain and selected to the All League Team. After high school, she was recruited to play volleyball at Seattle University. She played two seasons there as a Defensive Specialist/Libero. After two seasons, Michelle decided to transfer and continue her career at Sacramento State and be closer to home. Michelle will be entering her junior season this fall and is majoring in Political Science. This will be Michelle's 2nd season coaching a team with Dynamix Volleyball Club, yet her second year with the club. The prior year, Michelle served as a substitute coach and also assisted during our Spring Dynamite League.
